Anyway...went to Kyla's party last night..we saw Urban Legends: Final Cut, which I didn't really like... I keep going to horror movies expecting to be scared, but I rarely am... I'm just disgusted and depressed. Characters in horror movies are stupid and unlikable, and the only scary thing about them now is how violent their deaths can be. And how no one seems to feel much when they ARE killed. --; Do these things desensitize people? I know I'm not desensitized..I still can't even LOOK at live-action movie violence. Ugh. It's weird... I can handle it if it's described or if it's animated/drawn, but actual movie violence just makes me so ill. Unless it's obviously fake...like this one movie where when people got shot blood came out like spray paint..that was just funny. =P

We need more movies like The Sixth Sense. Now THAT is a fine modern horror film. :D The characters were likable and un-stupid and the plot (especially the twist) was awesome. I wanna see that movie again actually...
