I think the main thing I like about myself is that, despite how flawed I am, I am myself. I don't put masks on around people, though sometimes it's not for lack of wanting to. I just can't be anyone but me. I can't pretend and I can't just change who I am. I tried to do this once. I tried to buy clothes that were popular and in general change myself to fit the standard, but that was a disaster. It's just too much work to be someone you're not. So finally I decided that all I can be is me, and if you don't like it.. well then.. you don't have to talk to me, do you?
