I finished my first ever fanfiction today. It's very short, and I'm trying to work up the courage to type it.
Some of you might be saying, "Uh, lyn, it is not. Clarity is a fanfiction, remember? And Claris used to be..."

Yes, technically. But not really. I don't define Clarity as a true fanfiction, because while it uses Sailormoon and Secret of Mana concepts as a base, the setting and characters and such are, for the most part, mine. And my great paranoid fear of fanfiction is why I rewrote Claris and having stopped writing this little thing.. because I'm so, so afraid of perverting characters that aren't mine. You don't understand. I'm seriously paranoid about mischaracterization.

So I decided to try and overcome that fear by writing a story that was purely fanfiction, and I did, and if no one hates it, I might continue it... it's Harry Potter and D/H, of course, in accordance with my recent obsession with the series. :3; I realize that Draco/Hermione is a very unfeasible pairing and that stories on the theme automatically call for some mischaracterization, but I'm doing my best. xx; I wrote it in two days, so it's more like a short introduction.. because I want to write more Claris before I'm grounded from the computer.. :B;

Anyway, I'll torment everyone with it when it's typed and edited and we'll see if my great experiment failed or succeeded. xx
