Whoa, that was a long-ass post. Get ready for another one, folks. Last night, while reading that Bruce Coville book (which is called Odder than Ever), I became, as I usually do when I read fluffy stories, inspired. And I had an Idea. OH YES.
But my Idea, my artistic skills being somewhat lacking, cannot be enacted alone. Here is my Idea: to create a kind of graphic short story, in which I place text on a page and juxtaposition it with an illustration. Naturally, in order to do this, I would need an illustrator. If you are AT ALL interested in working with me, here are the particulars.
First, you have to be able to draw scenes. As in, more than just people. More than just pin ups of people. I myself can only do the very latter, which is why I'm having to ask for a collaborator instead of doing it myself. :B; And they would have to be in color, preferably, because if I do this I want to be cool and nice.
Second, you have to be willing to draw some shonen-ai, as this will be a shonen-ai story. :B; NO, no yaoi, I don't write porn, friends. You probably won't even have to draw guys kissing if you don't want to, that's how subtle I am about romance. xx'
Third, the Idea is a rewriting of a classical myth, updated for now, and replacing the female love interest with a male love interest. Since the myth is of Greco Roman origin, I do not believe doing this is terribly damaging to the spirit of the story. X3
If you're still interested, email me pleeaassse..and I will tell you which myth and other goodness... I will give you lots of time and freedom, especially since I'm probably going to get banned from onlineness in a while anyway. Oh, and I'll love you forever if you do it. I mean it.

Additionally, if you're wondering how many pictures you'll have to do..well, I estimate that this story will (as it is short and based off a myth, and myths are usually short too) be about 3000 words at max. There will be 500 words per 'page', so you'll have to do 6 illustrations maximum. Not too horrible, I don't think. :B;
