I really enjoy reading Neil Gaiman's American Gods blog... I've read the entirety of the Sandman series (thanks to a girl in my Humanities class last year, who lent me her copies of the books, as I am poor and cannot buy them on my own) and at the moment I'm reading Good Omens, which is by both him and another very good author, Terry Pratchett (whose Faust (Eric) and the book starring Death whose title I cannot for the life of me remember even though I've read it ten million times)...

I wish more of the authors I like had blogs..and I wish also that I wasn't such a wuss about contacting them. I would love to write this long, detailed letter to, oh, say, Bruce Coville, but I just know I'd descend into incoherent dorkiness if I attempted this... if I ever get to be published, I'm going to put my email and everything in the back of my books and encourage people to talk to me and assure them that I will definitely talk back, so they don't have to feel like dorks x__x;

It's kind of funny how I'm so paranoid, but I very much encourage complete strangers to come and chat with me. :B; Unfortunately they usually wander away on their own after discovering that, like with most things, I'm completely inept at conversation.
