You know, I was really apprehensive about AP English during English Honors III last year. I thought I would be surrounded by my intellectual betters and equals, and these people would all be much harder working and make much better grades than me. Turns out only the first part of that is true. XP Of course, many people are doing better than me (especially THIS marking period, no doubt), but I'm doing a LOT better than I thought I would.

Plus, it's a small class, and I know most of the people in there, and they're all intelligent (although a few of them are somewhat bothersome)...and they're all as lazy or lazier than me. One feels much less stupid going in unprepared when one knows that everyone else is just as unprepared as you. =P
