Vacationy babblings: I went to the International Museum of Cartoon Art in Boca Raton. It wasn't really very international and it was quite small (the only Asian piece of art was a page from a very old manga called Takeru). The featured exhibit was about Dennis the Menace, which I'm not particularly interested in, but there was a nice cartoonist's hall of fame (that included winsor mccay, who created Little Nemo in Slumberland and many other cool things). Sally, you'd love it in here in Florida..half the buildings are pink. =p But Boca Raton is very pretty; very affluent. Um... I got a massage at the 'spa' here...and realized you had to be completely naked after the fact. o_o That was odd, but not unworth it. I also got my eyebrows waxed.. =P I think the lady kept expecting me to make painy noises, but I hate doing that so I made not a sound (with some effort.. having those strips ripped off is not comfortable).

Everybody down here walks around half nekkid. I've never seen so many topless men, which is OK if they're young and frightening if they're old. >_>; The marshlands look neat and scary at the same time--imagine having to navigate through that madness. We passed a lot of marsh/swamp on the way to Key West; very interesting scenery.

We've been renting a lot of movies.. X3; I saw Rush Hour (loved it), The Mexican (was OK), Office Space (on Comedy Central, hilarious), and I think we're going to watch Chocolat tonight...

It's been a less painful vacation than most, but I still poignantly miss my cats and my house and all things mine..and I can't breathe here at night. I lay down to sleep and I just get all asthmatic and clogged, so I breathe heavy and disturb my brother (with whom I have to share a room). That's the worst part of being here. I really want my own bed.. but fortunately I only have to spend two more nights here before I go home..

That actually wasn't very long.. XP Um, anyway. Still reading my AP books. I've drawn two pages of Karma Slave and I'm writing much in the way of Claris; idealisticallly it would be nice to have finished the chapter before I come home (it really isn't a long chapter at all), but I guess we'll see..the books take priority I'm afraid. >_> I have also been drawing little face-comics of Sean and his prudish self commenting on things (like the massage and the personals ads we saw.. :3;;).

I have also come across what I think is a Neat Picture Idea but which is Too Complex for me to draw: Claris standing, looking all nervous as usual, with Sean on one side and Cadmiel on the other. They're each holding one of her arms and leaning in to kiss her cheek, and behind her is Donovan/Ireul, with an arm around her waist and another around her neck, holding a knife to her throat and looking generally evil. (this is me copying Kai's successful practice of describing wanted pictures in hopes that some talented person will draw them :B)
