Ah, it is so nice to see Adult Swim again after missing it for so many weeks. Gren (from tonight's Cowboy Bebop) is sexy (too bad he had the condition he did... :3;). He had a good voice actor too.

And I love Kurama and Hiei. Separately and together. XD
Man, I hope this movie comes out in the States, because it looks awesome. I love the tree of life premise too.
I've seen this on a few journals lately, and since I'm bored, I'll do it too. Guess the song these lyrics are from. XD (My list will be shorter and harder to create than theirs, because unlike my peers I do not have mountains of CDs...but I have some)

1.You think that everything is a miracle / I don't

2. Blazing emotion / There's a light that flows from the heart / It's a chain reaction / And nothing will keep us apart

3. In the age of superboredom / hype and mediocrity / celebrate relentlessness / menace to society

4. I am the city that will lie / you are the one that blame passed by / This is the place where I will weep / the loneliness of the sweet conceit

5. I'm not afraid of the price I pay / I won't lie down as you walk away

6. After the thunder's spoken / After the lightning bolt's been hurled / After the dream is broken / There'll still be love in the world

7. I howl all night / And I sleep all day / It takes more than a biscuit, baby, to chase these blues away

8. Ideas by man are only what will last / And over time we've learned from the past / That no man's fit to rule the world alone / A man will die / But not his ideas

9. And as the darkness comes / I start to see a picture / Of a lonely man / So clearly now / Reaching out for me

10. People talk too much / for what they have to say / Words / without a meaning / are fading away
Since I like Dreambook, Kurai now has one. Sign it so it does not look so lonely. ._. I'm doing a lot of update work on Kurai today, but I don't know how far I'll get since it seems any time I sit down to work, Mom comes storming up with something for me to do (like.. clean my room. pish).

Going to see The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood with my mother, Alicia, and her mother. Yay for bonding. I also have to drop off my job applications. Argh. Just hire me, book stores, else I will be forced to seek out theater as my place of employ. Though I suppose there's still the option of being a typist for someone...
And I do try to be a woman of my word.

My date's name is Alex. He's a good man, Alex is.
Who am I to deny the bandwagon? Nobody, that's who. I'm just glad Malfactor didn't choke on the Flash. Earlier today I was looking at this person's nice comic, and as I was clicking to see the pages Malfactor's hard drive moaned the most horrible sound ever. Hang in there buddy, just a few more months now and you can sleep forever...

Speaking of graphical representations of myself, I guess I should scan you guys some prom photos like I promised I would do.

::watching the MTV Movie Awards:: Okay, this LoTR parody is sick. Funny, but sick.
Every time I hear the song 'Click Click Boom' I think 'Hey, those guys are from Memphis!' XD; Also it reminds me of Sinclair. n_n
Aw, I get a heart. I loves you too Kirryn. XD

Jesus, why would you draw someone a picture when it's obvious that you don't like them or their work? People are so psychotic. I hate them.

Additionally, as you can see, it's listed right over there in my dislikes that I hate insults veiled as jokes. Using the 'I was just kidding' backpedal excuse when you've insulted someone pisses me off like the sight of those giant crosses of Doom over at Fort God (and those crosses make me pretty damn pissed. I wonder how much money it took to build those things? Money that could have been better spent a billion other places, like a charity or something. But that's another rant). Look, I know what satire and sarcasm are. Douglas Adams and Dave Barry are two of my favorite authors, for Christ's sake. But there's a difference between funny and being an ass.

And regardless of whether or not you really were just joshing, if you hurt someone, it doesn't matter. Putting it off as a joke and shirking the responsibility of hurting someone's feelings is definitely the behavior of an ass.

Now I know there are times when people (such as me) can misunderstand a joking comment, or take a jest for vitriol. But when you directly insult someone without any diction or other tone marker to indicate you were only kidding, then you can't use that excuse to save yourself.

Not that the rant offended me that much, except for that first brief surge of annoyance and anger when I read it and then that guy's response. Mostly it's just this practice of calling something a 'joke' instead of taking some fucking responsibility that I wanted to bitch about. Grr.
Well, I only have a small site on Seiryuu's space (I would actually bet your Matt friend didn't even visit it, though being that I am I took most of his comments with regards to all seiryuu denizens that weren't you personally, at first), but I would definitely say that rant offended me, Z. Both for myself and for everyone on seiryuu. For some reason that '14 year old' comment is really striking me, since I can't even think of anyone running a site on seiryuu who's that young.

I would never assume that his opinion was your opinion though. ^_^
Happy Birthday, Kefanii. And nope, you still little. XD

I downloaded a bunch of fonts today... Here and here are my results of playing with a few of them.
