Let's do this. :B

ow.

i don't think i'll be blogging for a while.
::whacks blogger with a stick::
I think I should take this time to say how much I love my oneechan Del, who has supported me in everything I've ever done and gotten me nice things and never reminded me of how inept I am.

I love you, Renee. Thank you for everything you've done for me. I wish my scanner was working so I could give you the (very crappy --;;) Dalia/Awai picture I drew. --

I should say that I love and miss my Sallybug, too, and I wonder why she is not on at this time, because she is usually on and I would very much like to talk to her. x__X
Somebody on fanfiction.net has me on AuthorAlert.. ::weeps for joy::

And KJ-fish took a Claris!! :D ::super squish:: You're the first :B
::flomps Neco:: No apologies :B;; I was just bitching and I'm over it and fine now. x__x;; I need to take a class on spazz management or something...

Kyleeebug, you are one of the most talented 12 year olds I have ever met in my entire life and you should know that I am extremely jealoush. :B When you are my age (17) you will be a bad ass. :B

I was a moron at 12...well, moreso than I am now. I, too, have diaries from that period of my life and they are quite pathetic indeed. I was just beginning to improve my writing style then, too.. it was a very evolutionary period in my life. x__x; The only thing I have on my website from that period (in which I was actually rather prolific) is this. I used to have the story that goes with it, but it was so wretched that it's no longer there anymore. :B;;
About Ms. Amelia Atwater-Rhodes...
Del oneechan bought for me her first book, In the Forests of the Night, and I read it.

Naturally, when I first saw this girl's books in the store and then read about how young she was I was floored... I mean, what does that say for me? But anyway, I read the book.. it was very short. o.o; It took about forty five minutes for me to read, and here's what I have to say. She has a good style. It's definitely what the reviews call polished, and I think polishing is something I lack entirely. But, that said..I didn't really like the book. I don't know why. x__x; It just didn't strike me as anything memorable. Maybe because I've just read one too many vampire books. :B; But anyway, the girl is a good writer and she did deserve publishment... but hey, that's how it is. I mean, have any of you guys out there ever made an effort to finish and publish something? I know I haven't, not yet. She obviously made the effort, by showing her finished story to her English teacher and then working to get it out there. And that's what you've got to do. You've got to finish what you write and then you've got to sell it to somebody, or, if you have the resources, publish it yourself.

Don't let the numbers discourage you. If we all listened to the stats about successful writers, we'd all just give up and quit, and that wouldn't do anything for anyone. Just keep trying. That's what I'm going to do--just keep trying until someone gets SO ANNOYED with me that they publish me to get me to go away. XD Ambition, friends! We can do it! :D :D :D I look forward to seeing the books of everyone I know on the shelves in the future. :B
Blogger needs to stop being a wench x__x;
Back to SBing.. I only have TWO non originals that have stuck with me, and that's Draco (From HP of course..he's still here and annoying :B;) and Rei (from Breath of Fire III XD;). Rei's here, somewhere.. he sleeps a lot.. o_o'

But most of my SBs are my own characters, and only a few (like Sean and Reve) are very strong, meaning, they're here a lot. The others drift in and out depending on the situation or if anyone has something to say to them. :B; Or when I'm writing their story. I take this seriously, but I'm not hung up on it..that is, I'm not obsessive.

It does bother me when it seems like people are only claiming to SB their favorite characters..most of my favorite characters I never see--case in point, my favorite HP characters are Hermione and Remus Lupin (not Draco..he just amuses me beyond belief :B;) and they are never here.. Hermione is, sometimes, to argue with Draco, but not Lupin.. So that kind of gets me. But like I said, there's nothing I can do about it.
OK, I have Netscape and composer back..rebuilding my bookmarks.. x__x; I also have AIM, and I remembered Izumimiya's pw (it's the same as my domain pw :B;;), but naturally my whole buddylist is gone. So if I'm not talking to you it's cause I can't remember what the hell your name is because I'm forgetful like that. :B;
Vera, you never tick me off x__X;; ::flomps you::
And I agree with what Kristen said anyways. :B; There's nothing I can about it, though, so...
Faahh ::squishes Nichole:: What does THAT mean? ;__;;;;; sometimes I really wonder how you feel about me, eleenefluff x__x;;

Alright, really and truly going now.

Thursday, March 15, 2001

AHAHA XD Kaeria called me a lemur. Lyn lemur! XD XD Okay, I'm really going now. Seriously. Want to play CC. Want to kill the Hydra.
Oh yeah, Cat-sama-fluff has an art bloglet too. :B
OK, now I'm going to go play CC until I pass out.
Has anyone ever heard the entirety of 'Mad About You', the theme song for the TV show? It reminds me of Sean & Claris.. x__x; but a lot of songs do.

Genkifluffer and Neco and Jaimie-J and Kat also noted my absence-ness.. that makes me happy too :B
I mostly need Netscape because I need composer. Otherwise it would take me ten billion years to format my story additions and I'm just not that patient. With composer it's just a fluffy little copy and paste job and it's all good. :B;;
I still have WinAmp... too bad all the track listings don't WORK cos all my MP3s are GONE.. :B;;;
That was terribly cathartic.. now let me say again that I appreciate all the support everyone's ever given me. I mean it. You don't know how happy it makes me to know that there are people in the world that care about what I'm writing, and that goes for here, that goes for fatal, and that goes for all my stories (i.e. Claris & Clarity). It warms my soul. x__x

Sorry, it's late at night and I'm lonely and gushing. Look, it's all over the floor. Gush. x__x;
Oh yeah, I also think everyone on the anime club mailing list, if they didn't already, thinks I'm a complete nutcase because of a rather incoherent post I made to the list while in L.A. x__x;; That post really should have only gone to Kai and not everyone...

I'm so adept at being inept. :B
Damn, I'm in bad mood right now.. x__x Sigh... I've got to install my scanner software, too, though I don't feel much energy in doing that... I can't draw all that well anyways... I'm on IE now, haven't installed Netscape, will tomorrow. Can't deal with anymore installations tonight. Everything is just making me so angry and Sally isn't here and Kai won't be here all day tomorrow and most of the next and it's all just very upsetting.
Well, I'm back on Malfactor now, though things are not at all well. Here's the story, morning glories.

Malfactor is old. Malfactor is VERY, VERY old. He is 7 years old, to be precise, and in computer time that is nearly a millenium. Let me explain to you how Malfactor (and many other computers) work(s). He has little discs inside his hard-drive, with little arms that read the discs. Because his owner is a dumbass who does not run ScanDisk, after a while these little discs begin to get errors on them. These errors build up, like cancerous tumors, getting worse and worse until they simply cannot be fixed. In addition to that, these arms have been working for a looong time and they are quite tired. It's kind of like having an old and sick friend hanging around that you keep trying to pump life into but they just don't respond. That's how Malfactor is. He's old and sick and he's tired of living.

I understand that, I do. But I can't just waltz up to Dad and say 'Can I have a new computer?' because we just don't have the money. So I'm just going to sit here and hope that he doesn't die flat-out until we do. Tell you what, though, I am NOT bringing this senile old fool to college. x__x;
It's not that I mind the influx, terribly (before anyone jumps on my back and thinks I dislike them xx)... it just makes me feel unoriginal, and I'm already enough of a hack. ::whines::
::gnaws on blogger::
I see a few people noted my absence :B ::fluffs Kyleebug, Efluffer, and Sallyfluffer:: Ah feel luffed.

Oh yeah.. and if you've sent me a mail through hotmail, I haven't been able to get into it (NS6 crashes each time I try x__x), so don't think I'm ignoring you or anything. xx;;
Yeah, Malfactor is still having conniptions. All of my stuff is backed up on Imperium (Bryan's computer) though, (except my MP3s, which are lost and gone forever .__.) so it's all good..

::pokes Vera:: What do you MEAN, someone finally said it? As if it's not blatantly obvious that SBing has become something of a 'trend'... I don't really care, personally... it's not like it's going to get you any popularity, is it, then? :B;

Urrgghh... and now everyone's getting prose blogs too.. dammit x__x
And Maj, Draco's hair is blond..and so is that of his actor's.. x__x; Tom (the actor :B;) had red hair for his previous film (Anna and the King), though, maybe you're looking at an old picture. :B;;
I'm home, but I came home to find that my C: drive has failed and so now my computer is not doing anything at all.. x__x My brother is trying to fix it, and I woke up this morning to see that he is in the process of installing Windows 98, since obviously windows 95 did not cooperate. So anyway I'm blogging from his computer... and I'm back, but I'm not. xx

I did not achieve my goal of completing Claris's seventh day, but I did start it and finish 6. So voo. :B Unfortunately I can't do anything web related until my computer ressurrects. x__x I was busier than I expected, the only day we really didn't do anything was Monday, and I'd left my notebook back at the hotel...

The trip was alright, as family trips go. The Lion King was wonderful, though we saw it very late so we were all tired x__x Disneyland's California Adventure was fun as well, especially the Animation section... I got a sketchbook :3 In one of the rooms there was an extended trailer for Atlantis, and I think Michael J. Fox does the voice of the main character, whose name is Milo Thatch. This is good, because Michael J. Fox is one of my favorite actors and I'm very sad that he had to quit Spin City because of his Parkinson's. The whole Animation section was probably the best part, they had rooms showing you preliminary sketches and design concepts for certain characters, a film that explained how it was done, and a place called The Sorceror's Workshop, where you could do a number of things...one was a cave type setting like in Little Mermaid and they would overlay your voice onto a Disney scene. My brother and myself did a scene from Lion King; I was Simba, he was Scar :3

Another room was set up like the Beast's libary from Beauty and the Beast (duh :B), and they had 'magic books' (really just cleverly disguised computers) that told you which Disney character you were like based on a few questions... and I got.. the Wicked Stepmother from Cinderella X3 Bryan got Capt. Hook. :B The room was very nicely done, though--in the back was a portrait of the Beast in his human princely form, and beneath it a section of the wall was cut out and the rose with glass over it was placed inside. Cool. :B

So I'm glad to be home but very unhappy that my computer rebelled on me the first day back...we think what happened was is that one of the cats (probably my beloved Patches --) did its business on the tower, because some idiot (who was taking care of the cats) opened up all the doors, despite the fact that we'd closed them just for that purpose. x__x If that's true then it might not be salvagable, but... I'm trying not to think about it.

Until something gives I'm using Bryan's computer in the mornings when he is not awake. :3
