I just totally slaughtered Kurai's links page. If you're my buddy and I forgot you, feel free to tell me so. My memory is pretty shoddy.
I do not think I'll get to see Ali and Laris today. ._. But I did see Alicia, and the seller that I bought BoFIV from emailed me and said she shipped it yesterday, so hopefully it will get here soon. ^_^

Courage the Cowardly Dog is such a cool show. In some episodes it even rivals Zim in terms of sheer stylishness.
Was sitting in the car and received BFI (Brilliant Flash of Insight) into the next Clarity chapter. Since a certain person has been moaning about it, it will focus partly on Azura. I can also kill another bird with that stone and introduce the final character of Clarity's cast, the oft-mentioned but not yet known Gnome Knight, the priest amongst priestesses.
Of course, first I have to finish the Claris chapter, and that's nowhere near done. X3

Oh, now you're spreading rumors about me, too? That is IT. It is ON now.
"I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubble gum."

Bother, leaving again soon. Shouldn't be long though, Bryan just needs to get his tux (I'm going because I desperately, desperately need new colored pencils and the art shop is right close to the tux place. My light peach pencil is barely as big as my fingernail. It's madness)
Well, I'm home. n_n Bryan told me he was home all day and no one showed up or called, so maybe I haven't missed Alicia (and the Ali and the Laris..??).
Even if my threshold of pain is very low, I've noticed that I rarely tend to scream or cry out because of physical pain. I cry because of emotional anguish every other day, but I cry much less over wounds, especially in recent years. For example, the pain on my hand because of the burn was horrible, and it was augmented greatly when I was in the shower, because warm water kept splashing onto it. But I didn't cry, or even shriek, or even say something like 'Goddammit ow!' :3;
I don't scream on roller coasters either, which may be a bad thing, because I read that screaming is supposed to release the air pressure your body builds up from moving so fast...

Oh, BOTHER. The agonizing pain on my hand has ceased, but now there is a rather large, unattractive blister on the side of my middle finger (so if I want to show it to anyone properly, I have to flip them off...), and when I woke this morning I found that 'that time of the month' has come upon me again. So I also feel mildly ill and painy. This wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to go up to Rhodes today for an orientation kind of thing and also get my prom dress... but perhaps I can use my sickness to convince my mother to not do either thing for very long. I only need to go to orientation to see some of the freshman class; I've already gone on a tour, I've already met some Rhodes students, I've basically done everything but meet my classmates. So I hope I don't have to say long... Alicia has to come over today and get prom money... and I want to see the Ali and the Laris too, and be home if they are in my neck of the woods. ._.

Why do people have to be so damn trifling?
Summer is coming upon us. I'm trying to think of how to use the fact that I have a pool as a bribing tool to get people to get up and come see me. Swiss chocolate is also a good bribing tool, I think, but that is in limited supply.

I felt near suicidal in school today, but then I got home... I told mom the Truth (about Kyla and me), and I finally got myself a male companion for the prom. Also ordered Breath of Fire IV off of Amazon.com...
About 22-23 days (not sure of the exact number) left of school. MUST SURVIVE.

Y'know... I may not go to church, but I'm still a Catholic when it comes to sex. I just can't read lemon stories (of any nature--hetero, yaoi, yuri), without feeling embarrassed... even though since I'm eighteen, it's not illegal anymore... XP

Generally it seems that people take their showers in the morning... but I prefer to take mine at night/late afternoon. Something so nice about washing off all the filth one accumulates over the day... all the salt, dirt, perspiration. All the frustration and indignities and annoyances. All the people.
Mmm, that came out more bitter than I intended...

Why is Deadjournal being all speedy and Livejournal is being a whore? I'm sorry, I have a lot of friends who use DJ and I have one so I can keep track of them (those friends lists [or fiends, as DJ calls them...] are really useful..), but it IS the whiny goth alternative.
::yawns:: New Karma. Don't worry, I'll write more Claris tomorrow in school.. that is, if I have time, after writing my French essay... :3;
Let's see. I can either A) Draw Karma B) Write Claris or C) Do more revisions to the first half of Claris.
Probably going to be A, though I've been thinking often on Claris revision. I'm removing many scenes from the first half completely--nothing integral to the story, mostly things that are just stupid or were products of my own self-indulgence, and either just leaving it or replacing it with a scene of more relevance (and better writing). I'm also putting in more references to the angels. I don't think they'll actually interact with Claris and them until near the end, like usual, but they'll be there, watching, like shadows on a wall. But not doing anything just yet... (this also means I'll have to a bit of revision to the second half, to mention that the watching was taking place.. but I'll probably go back and revise all of that again when I'm done anyway, so)

Have you ever had a day where everything just pisses you off? I'm having a day like this today. Everything (and everyone) is making me angry...I feel like snapping some necks.

I went to a poetry workshop on Saturday at school. The poet speaking was a woman named Shara McCallum, a white Jamaican woman who writes very good poems and who is very nice, but she was kind of patronizing when it came to our classical background. Now, most of the people there were juniors and seniors, and one of them was actually in college. She seemed to think that we didn't know anything about the Odyssey (which we read freshman year here) or that Greek myths came first, followed by the Roman thievery, and various other things. This nettled me, but I guess it's plausible that some people there didn't know that... I don't mean to sound supercilious or something, but I really think people who want to be writers should have some background in myth, folklore and legend, ESPECIALLY Greco-Roman. Writers should also be familiar with Biblical tales, I don't CARE if you hate Christians, the Bible is an important literary work and a wonderful resource for references.
And if you're a reader, you should have that background too (most writers are readers though, and vice versa), otherwise you won't fully understand a lot of what you read. Hell, if you don't have that background, you won't even be able to fully enjoy RPG's, since they're usually brimming with references to myths and legends and so on.
For example. It amuses me that Ixion (which is also a reference to Greco-Roman mythology.. Ixion [who was an incredible jerk] was the father of the father of the Centaur race [according to some accounts, this is disputable], and Ixion is a horse. Hm!), the lightning fayth from FFX, has his overdrive attack as Thor's Hammer..and in BoF3, the strongest lightning attack is called Myollnir, a phonetic spelling of Mjolnir, which is the -name- of Thor's hammer. Okay, so it's not amusing in a funny way, but I thought it was interesting. =P

Picture time again... I actually have three other pictures besides this--one of Charon, one of Etienne, and one of Kaitlyn, but they're not colored yet. (my skin colored pencils are getting down to stubs -_-) There's also another of Rei, but it's a bit scary, so I don't know if I'll scan it or not... (didn't realize till after the fact that he's really more of a yellow than an orange.. the instruction booklet is black and white ._.)
I'm not exactly sure how much time passes between the first and second halves of the game, but the general consensus seems to be 10, and I'm inclined to agree. The younger Rei is much easier to draw (and better looking too in my opinion, though older Rei is also cute). I have no idea how he went from a blue vest to the exact same vest but in red... maybe it was stained with the blood of his enemies or something. Always loved Rei, always have him (and momo) in my party, although it's true that in terms of stats he's actually pretty weak. True, his power increases dramatically as a Weretiger, but you can't control him in that form and he also tends to get berserk (because the purpose of the Weretiger is to totally flip out and kill people..) and attack you, which is Bad.
Momo is one of my favorite video game characters ever, although I still don't know what the hell she's supposed to be. Those are her ears, though, not feathers, as some strange people like to claim.
So yes... like?
Do NOT call me Quatre, Rose. I will hit you with trout. =P
Anyway. People that can't take care of their pets need to be SLAPPED or worse. The neighbor's dog wandered over here as Bryan was leaving for work, and since they're not home, he told me to put the dog in the pantry until they did get home (this was at 11. It's now drawing close to 1:30). The dog will not stop yowling, which I can understand, but I can't do anything about it. I feel bad for having to ignore it, but if I let it go about the house the cats (who I'm surprised haven't been drawn by his barks and yowls already) would surely attack, and if I just set him free he could wander off forever, never to return. Uggh.
